LG’s latest webOS system - webOS 3.5 - will deliver a range of improvements. from enhanced remote control features to getting you closer (literally) to the action with improved zoom functionality. The improvements made to LG's Magic Remote handset, will allow you to instantly access your favorite streaming service - such as Netflix or Amazon - by pressing a single assignable button on the remote.
The new ‘Magic Link’ button will allow accessing background information on what you’re watching, such as bios of the actors.
The improved Magic Zoom feature will allow you to zoom in on parts of the image with better control and quality and also let you record the enlarged image.
WebOS 3.5 also is VR (Virtual Reality) ready. If you connect a webOS 3.5 TV to a VR-capable computer or mobile device via USB cable, you can not only watch 360-degree VR content on your TV but also use the Magic Remote to move the scene in any direction and zoom in and out of the image using the handset’s handy scroll wheel.
