Four zones, endless possibilities
Stream up to four different audio sources at the same time using Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or — for greater control — the Sonos app. You can also connect devices like turntables and send that audio to any zone you choose. Each zone has its own independent controls for music and volume, giving you an easy playback experience.

Amp Multi’s smart design streamlines installation to help get your audio system up and running fast. The compact, rack-friendly unit saves space and keeps cool, even when stacked. Engineered for efficiency and longevity, Amp Multi uses very little energy (less than 5.4W when idle, with wifi disabled) and is serviceable to both increase its lifespan and reduce its environmental impact.

The damping factor is approximately 437 when paired with an 8-ohm speaker.
What if I’m in a noisy environment and my device can’t hear the setup chirp?
If the chirp is not detected, you can enter the PIN printed on the back of the unit directly in the Sonos app.
How much clearance does Amp Multi need for airflow if it’s not rack-mounted?
We recommend allowing at least four inches (10 centimeters) of space on the top and sides for proper ventilation.
Does Amp Multi support Trueplay?
No, Amp Multi introduces ProTune—a manual tuning feature that lets you fine-tune the sound for any low-impedance passive speaker and room. When used with Sonos Architectural speakers, enabling Optimize Sonos Speakers applies custom tuning and DSP tailored to their unique acoustic design.
